What is a couple widget?
A couple widget puts a small shared ritual on your phone’s Home Screen or Lock Screen. With Love Taps, you pair with one person and send a tap without composing a message. Your partner can receive a notification when you reach out.
A little more expressive than a tap
Long-press the heart in the app to choose Thinking of you, Miss you, Need a hug, Good morning or Goodnight. You can also share a color theme and keep your next reunion date close.
What you both need
- Love Taps installed on both iPhones, running iOS 17 or later.
- A paired connection in the app and access through a paid plan.
- An internet connection and suitable notification settings for receiving taps.
One paid plan includes your partner’s access through pairing. Check the App Store and in-app purchase screen for current plans and local prices.
Start with one small gesture
Install Love Taps, open it, follow the pairing steps and invite your partner. Once connected, try a tap together before adding the widget. Our setup guide walks you through it.
Does it replace messaging?
No. It is a small way to reach out between conversations. Delivery and sound depend on network, notification and Focus settings; a tap is not an urgent communication channel.
